Query 1. Please use all of what you have experienced, seen, read and heard to estimate as to when, taking account of reliability, durability, dependability, esthetic appearance, comfort and overall pleasantness of operation, you think a typical Big Three (General Motors-Ford-Chrysler) engineered vehicle should be tossed into the recycling bin.
  All Respondents
  Median: 105,000 to 120,000 miles
Respondents over the age of 40
  Median: 75,000 to 90,000 miles
The difference may reflect greater experience by the post 40 group or less tolerance for unpleasantness as one ages, or both. Also, the difference may disappear as the sample grows.

Advisory: Sample size is still small.
