For Vehicles 4-to-6 Years Old, Toyota Garners 6 of Top 10, General Motors Garners 15 of Bottom 38
Models by Toyota Motor Corporation account for six of the ten highest Reliability Percentranks for vehicles between the ages of four years and six years. Honda Motor Company and Nissan Motor Company each account for two of the remaining four.
The Reliability Percentranks are based on information appearing within Consumer Reports 2005 and 2004 reliability tables that pertains to model year 1999.
The following table lists the top ten models, together with their respective Reliability Percentranks.
The Best of 1999: Models with a Reliability Percentrank of .93 or More at Vehicular Age of 4-to-6 Years Model Reliability Percentrank Honda CR-V sport utility vehicle 1.00 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck .99 Toyota's Lexus LS400 sedan .98 Toyota 4Runner V6 sport utility vehicle .98 Toyota's Lexus GS300/GS400 sedan .97 Toyota Corolla .96 Toyota RAV4 sport utility vehicle .96 Honda Civic .96 Nissan's Infiniti I30 sedan .96 Nissan's Infiniti QX4 SUV .96 The Lexus LS400 sedan, the Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, the V6 Toyota 4Runner sport utility vehicle, and the Honda CR-V sport utility vehicle are also among the Best of 1997 and the Best of 1998.
